Seventeen magazine, is, if you ask me, a symbol of teenagers and their culture in matter of reading.

A bad thing that I see about this kind of magazines is the fact that they promote, through pictures and articles, low or no calories diets for young girls.

This is really true. I am agreed with nocalorie.

Promoting low calories diets is not a bad thing. If combined with multivitamins, they can be very good for your health. Not everything is about body weight, but also about eathing healthy food.

Nowadays, teenagers, especially girls, are more concerned with being in shape, keeping a diet, than having other hobbies, like music, movies or others. Low calorie diets are so common that there even are numerous books written on this matter.
